The Valley Heydalur is a wooded valley - that is, on an Icelandic scale. Canyons line the valley and birch and birds are all around.
We offer a 1-hour horse riding tour and a chance to discover the valley of Heydalur, ride along the river down to the coast. The Icelandic horse is famous for its five different gaits and on the black sand beach, you can try the gallop and "tölt". Here you get an excellent opportunity to observe Icelandic birds and flora.
